The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh welcomes wedding parties who wish to use selected locations in its exquisite landscape as the setting for their wedding photographs.
This privilege is made available, subject to the following conditions:
Advance booking
Advance booking must be made by arrangement with the RBGE Rangers at the East Gate. Enquiries can be made in person, by telephone 0131 248 2895 during Garden opening hours, or by email gardenrangers@rbge.org.uk
Bookings can only be confirmed and accepted on pre-payment of the service fee (see below). Telephone or email bookings must be followed by on-site fee payment (as below). No groups can be admitted until payment has been received.
Fees
The service fee payable for a group to visit and record wedding photographs is £120 incl VAT.
The fee is payable (by cheque only) to Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. We regret that cash payments cannot be accepted.
Photography fees are waived for wedding parties who are holding their wedding ceremony and/or wedding reception at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
Terms & conditions

No vehicles are allowed into the Garden.

All parties and their accompanying photographers must proceed to the approved location on foot.

Vehicles must be safely and legally parked outside the entrance.

Groups exceeding 20 persons cannot be accommodated.

Wedding photo shoots are only permitted in designated locations, and must be conducted without inconveniencing other visitors, nor in any way damaging the plants, landscape or fabric.

Wedding photographs are not permitted inside the Glasshouses or Exhibition Spaces.

All wedding parties will be supervised by the Garden Rangers.
