Presented to coincide with the Tercentany
this year of the Swedish Botanist Carl Linnaeus (1707-1778), this is the second
in a pioneering series of six exhibitions about the Garden based upon
commissioned photographs by Rosita McKenzie, an artist and arts consultant, who
is blind. These are accompanied by Tactile (raised) Images by Lara Latcham, who
has specialised in developing ways of improving access to art for visually
impaired people - and commentaries by Rosita McKenzie, Dr. David Harris
(Curator of the Garden's Herbarium) and Paul Nesbitt
(Director and Curator of Inverleith House).
