Kirsty Bell: The Artist's House Discussion & Slide Lecture

Saturday 10 May, 7.30pm

Kirsty  Bell's most recent book, The Artist's House: From Workplace  to Artwork, examines the role of artists'  domestic spaces in relation to their  work. Taking the house as a receptacle,  vehicle, model, theatre, or  dream space, the artist's home becomes a prism  through which to view  not only the artistic practice of its inhabitant, but  also to apprehend broader developments in sculpture and contemporary art in  relation to  domestic architecture and interior space.

Bell  will deliver a multimedia presentation informed by her extensive research on  the subject.

The  Artist's House: From Workplace to Artwork is  published by Sternberg Press. The publication will be available to purchase at the event.
