Opening times

The Garden is open daily, 1 March - 31 October.

Opening hours:

March and October: 10.00am - 5.00pm
April to September: 10.00am - 6.00pm

Last entry one hour before the Garden closes. 

Benmore Cafe and shop remain open throughout winter:

1 November - 28 February: 10.00am - 4.00pm

(closed Monday and Tuesday).

In the event of severe weather the Garden may be closed at short notice. Please phone ahead for further details.

Admission

Adults £5.50, Concessions £4.50, Children £1, Families (2 adults and up to 4 children) £11.

Friends enjoy free admission.

Group discounts are available for groups of 11 or more people arriving and paying together. Groups can turn up and pay on the day of their visit, alternatively please call +44 (0) 1369 706 261 to pre-book.

If you are a UK tax payer and kindly agree to make a donation in the form of Gift Aid Entry, the Government's Gift Aid scheme allows RBGE to reclaim the tax, increasing the value of your admission payment by nearly one third.

Eating

The Benmore Café offers an excellent range of Fairtrade Coffees and Teas, traditional home-baking, snacks or meals. The Café also offers full disabled facilities together with a warm welcome in very pleasant surroundings. The Benmore Café is open at the following times:

1 March - 31 October: 10.00am - 6.00pm (until 5.00pm in March and October)
1 November - 28 February: 10.00am - 4.00pm (closed Monday and Tuesday)

The Benmore Café also welcomes non-Garden visitors and groups. Seating capacity is 54 plus additional seating outdoors. Please call the Benmore Café on +44 (0)1369 840 509 for group catering options.

Shopping

The Benmore Shop offers the keen gardener a wide selection of books, gifts and plants, some of which can be seen growing in the Garden.

Access

Wheelchair users may explore the extensive lower areas of the Garden. The Benmore Explorer people carrier offers rides for those with mobility needs - information about running times are available from Visitor Reception on +44 (0) 1369 840 509 or the Main Office on +44 (0) 1369 706 261.

Photography

You can take photographs and videos in the Garden for personal use. All filming and photography for commercial use is by permit only. Details of any requests for filming or photography should be discussed with the Press & Marketing Office.
