Jade Dragon Field Station & Lijiang Alpine Botanic Garden

The Jade Dragon Field Station & Lijiang Alpine Botanic Garden is a conservation project run between the RBGE, the Kunming Institute of Botany (KIB) and Lijiang Alpine & Plant Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Science. The aim of this project is to work on the conservation of habitats, plants and other organisms which live and depend upon the biodiversity hotspot of the Yulong Xue Shan (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain) in the Yunnan Province of South West China. Las Cuevas (Belize) Field Station

This research station lies in the heart of the Chiquibul Rainforest in the Maya Mountains of Belize. It provides a base for scientists undertaking important field research into this area and allows us to conserve the rich biodiversity for future generations.  Find out more
