Short Course students in the garden

Learning at RBGE is always an enjoyable experience.

With its internationally renowned living collections, herbarium, botanical library and most importantly the experience and expertise of its staff, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is a truly excellent environment in which to learn about plants and the environment.

We offer a wide range of leisure courses, from one-day workshops through to ten-week part time courses.

These are a great way to get more familiar with the living world around you, whether you enjoy gardening, are fascinated by wild plants or want to know how you can reduce your impact on the environment.
