Snowdrops at Dawyck

The popular Snowdrop Festival returns for 2009 at Edinburgh, Dawyck and Logan Botanic Gardens from 1 to 28 February 2009.

Visitors to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh can discover a selection of specialist snowdrops or join one of our many events and celebrate these wonderful little gems in the clarity of light that winter brings to Scotland.

Visit Dawyck Botanic Garden, renowned for its stunning displays of snowdrops that bloom in profusion along the banks of the Scrape Burn, or enjoy enchanting displays at Logan - as well as a wide variety of early flowering rhododendrons and camellias - at 'Scotland's most exotic garden'.

Snowdrop experts and enthusiasts gather at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh on Friday 20 February 2009 for the Snowdrop Conference, which includes an impressive line-up of speakers and guided tours of the snowdrop collections at the Botanics. The conference is hosted in association with Cambo Estate.

RBGE's Snowdrop Festival is part of VisitScotland's annual Scottish Snowdrop Festival.
