Lothian Buses are introducing new service 28 from 6 July.
The route will take you from Bristo Place to Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh via National Museum of Scotland, City Centre & Canonmills every 20 minutes from 1000 until 1740 on Saturdays & Sundays from 6 July until 15 September inclusive. This is the first and only Lothian Buses service to take people directly to the John Hope Gateway at the West Gate of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
New service 28 which was introduced as a result of passenger demand, is operated using diesel-electric hybrid double-decker buses. This means that the buses have considerably reduced fuel usage and a carbon footprint typically 30-40% lower than a standard bus.
