First Minister meets apprentices during visit

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon spoke to apprentices about their work and opportunities when she visited the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) on the day a report into how the Scottish Government can support the transition from adolescence into adulthood was published.

Apprentices Jennifer Wright, Graeme Reid and Jordan Creelie told the First Minister about their interest in horticulture and how the apprenticeships were giving them an opportunity to pursue their chosen careers. During her time at the Garden, the First Minister also met RBGE's Director of Science, Peter Hollingsworth and David Knott, Curator of the Living Collection.
