Come celebrate Christmas with a conscience... join us for RBGE's third Green Christmas Festival, which runs every weekend in December until Christmas, with activities to entertain and amuse visitors of all ages.

The main attraction is our very own Green Santa in his enchanting grotto. The Talking Trees storytellers will captivate younger audiences with stories of wonder, and will explore the world of deepest winter in tales for older children. And there will be carol singers on selected days.

There will also be card- and decoration-making workshops, while our regular Art-tastic sessions offer the chance to create your very own eco-wreath and recycled gift bags.

To find out more about the plants behind our festive foods, come along to Festive Plants, our Sunday Science sessions in December. Or explore seasonal plants of interest out in the Garden and indoors in the Glasshouses by joining our festive walking tour Holly and the Ivy, led by our expert guides.

For a full listing of festive events, see our Green Christmas events page.
